Trunk-R-Treat Donations ~ This coming Friday, October 29th, our Rector, Peter Carey and other volunteers will participate in the Diocesan “Trunk-R-Treat” at the parking lot of the Diocesan Offices in Norristown. We will decorate the rector’s car and give out candy in a safe and fun environment to children in and near Norristown. Please consider volunteering and or giving a few dollars toward our efforts.

Friendly World Series Wager with Houston Episcopal Church ~ The Rev. Neil Willard, the Rector of Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas reached out to our rector, the Rev. Peter Carey and we are having a friendly wager on the World Series between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies. We agree to send the other person something representative from our city if we lost and also wear the baseball cap of the other team during announcements after it was over. Good Episcopal & Baseball Fun!

All Saints Memorials ~ On November 6th, we will celebrate All Saints Day, and we will read the names of those loved ones who have gone on to be with the Lord. Please use the enclosed envelope to make a memorial gift in honor of a family member or friend and we will read their name on All Saints.

Accessibility Project ~ Beginning the week of November 7th, our contractor will begin the process to make our church fully handicapped accessible. This is extremely overdue and also exciting to have begin. As a part of this process, we will not have access to the front of the church for several months. We will help people to enter the church either through the “back doors” (on the side near Cathedral Village) or through the blue kitchen door.

Hurricane Relief through Episcopal Relief and Development ~ Please consider making a donation to ERD (Episcopal Relief and Development) toward rebuilding efforts in the Caribbean and SouthEastern United States after Hurricane Ian. Information on how to give can be found at www.episcopalrelief.org. We also have flyers from ERD on our table near the entrance of the nave.

Fellowship Luncheons on the 2nd Sundays ~ Join us on the Second Sunday of each month for a Fellowship Luncheon in our Parish Hall. Please consider bringing an offering to share with the parish and spend some time in conversation and conviviality. Upcoming Fellowship Luncheons on November 13th and December 11th.

Advent Wreath Making Event ~ 20 November ~ Join us on “Christ the King Sunday,” the Sunday before Advent begins for a fun Advent Wreath Making Event. We will have candles, LED candle lights, live greens, artificial greens and all supplies needed.
