I serve as the Senior Associate Rector of St. Paul's Memorial Church in Charlottesville.

We are located on the University of Virginia's "Corner" and have a thriving ministry to the University, and also serve a dynamic and welcoming parish of townspeople, University Students, and visitors.

This blog is named for a sign on a wonderful shop in Chimayo, New Mexico ~ "Santos Woodcarving Popsicles."

I aim to reflect theologically on life, and seek ways to illuminate the ways that Joy and Hope have infused our world.

Thanks for visiting!

Blessings,

Peter Carey+
