Lucien Lloyd Bass, III
I write with word that Lucien Bass died this early this morning with Mary and close family (as ever) by his side. Would that all the children of God had the loving and expert care that Lucien and Mary’s family and friends have given with great love. Lucien was ever grateful for every visit and friendship.
The funeral service will be at Emmanuel Church, Greenwood, on January 24 at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow immediately afterward at the Bass home, Bryn Rhaglan, on Burch’s Creek Road. Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond the following day.
O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our
prayers on behalf of thy servant Lucien, and grant him an
entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of
thy saints; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth
and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now
and forever. Amen.
May Lucien rest in peace and rise in glory,
