Running, the "life abundant"!

I'm in the final hours before running my first marathon tomorrow morning in Richmond, Virginia.  I have had a great time this year recapturing my love of running.  Well, actually, it started really as "hate" ... transformed into "tolerance"....then "like, intermittently"...then, finally, .... "love."  But, I really have found that running has been a part of a real sense of becoming more and more aware of the "life abundant."  As Jesus said in John 10:10, "I have come, so that [you] may have life, and have it abundantly."  The life abundant!  We are made for this, and we can cultivate the life abundant.  A part of this "life abundant" is a cultivation of health and wellness, which for me has included running and enjoying the out-of-doors while running.

So I hope for a good race, but I am so thankful for a great time running over the last several months...below are but a few images of these runs...

See you at the finish!
