I just learned from the Faith and Theology blog that William Placher has died, he was a wonderful theologian and writer who I found to be so helpful in understanding some of the major strands of Christology. I just began teaching a course on Jesus Christ in which we will be using his book, "Jesus the Savior" as one of our major texts. He will be missed!
I am so sad to see him go, but happy for his next stage of the journey.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
