Middle School Epiphany Service at St. Catherine's

Yesterday, the Middle School Foreign Language Department and their students took the lead on planning and leading the Middle School in a mulit-lingual Epiphany Service. We had songs sung in Spanish and French and Latin and Swahili, and we had prayers and readings done in these languages as well. It was a terrific service, and I had the enviable position of helping to lead the service along with these highly professional and caring teachers, and our excellent students. What a great time! I applaud their work, and really loved hearing the Lord's Prayer repeated back to me in French, Latin, and Spanish - what a great service and a wonderful occasion to celebrate the diversity of cultures and gifts that we all bring to this place!

Just wonderful!

Peace,

The Rev. Peter M. Carey
