The passing of the Rev. Dr. Sadie Mitchell

Pastor Sadie was a wonderful person who our Rector had the pleasure of spending time with at Bishop White Lodge over the last three years, and she will be missed dearly.  A longer obituary will be posted soon, but please keep all those who loved Pastor Sadie in your prayers.  

May she rest in peace and rise in Power in her Lord! 

O God of grace and glory, we remember before you this day

our brother sister Sadie.  We thank you for giving her to us, her

family and friends, to know and to love as a companion on

our earthly pilgrimage. In your boundless compassion,

console us who mourn.  Give us faith to see in death the gate

of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may continue

our course on earth, until, by your call, we are reunited with

those who have gone before; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Sadly we announce the passing of The Rev. Dr. Sadie S. Mitchell who was a life-long member and associate priest of The African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas and also a faithful UBE member. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
